Definition of Terms

Acropora loripes                     -           coral species that was used in the project that belongs to the “staghorn” family of corals, which have the characteristics of branching forms and are among the fastest growing coral species

Adhesive Marine Epoxy       -           a kind of epoxy or glue that can affix things underwater

Coral Transplantation          -           is a method of propagating coral by cutting a portion (coral transplants) it and transplanting it in another site (coral substrate)

Coral Transplants                 -           are coral fragments or pieces that were shattered by the typhoon Sendong ; to be affixed in the substrates
