INTRODUCTION

Research Hypotheses

            From the problem stated, the following null hypotheses are formulated:

Ho1        The growth rate of the coral transplants cannot be determined.

Ho2        The mortality rate of the coral transplants cannot be determined.

Ho3      There is no significant difference in the growth rate of the coral transplants in the three different substrates.

Ho4      There is no significant difference in the mortality rate of the coral transplants in three different substrates.
